Neonato di delfino adottato da un uomo

Un cucciolo di delfino recuperato al largo della costa di Montevideo in Uruguay.

Si tratta esattamente di un esemplare femmina di delfino franciscana. Il recupero si deve ai volontari dell’associazione “S.O.S. Rescate Fauna Marina”. In queste immagini il delfino neonato, al momento del ritrovamento, aveva ancora il cordone ombelicale attaccato, viene accudito ed allattato da Richard Tesore, il capo della ong ambientalista, che accudirà il mammifero in uno dei suoi centri.

Body: Friend, I signed a petition on the Action Network telling Japanese Government & WAZA to Petition: Stop the Slaughter & Captivity.

Dolphins are being slaughtered in Japan. They are being enslaved in captive facilities everywhere. It is sad, but true. Its time for the evolution of human morality – time for us to permanently end dolphin killing and abuse. When you sign this petition, you are pledging NOT to ever buy a ticket to a captive dolphin show; you are telling the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) to expel member aquariums that buy dolphins caught in association with the Taiji hunts; you are telling the Japanese government that the slaughters and trade in live dolphins is unacceptable; you are demanding the release of the albino dolphin Angel, and refuting the idea that the Taiji dolphin hunts are traditional, as this has been proven false. Earth Island’s Save Japan Dolphins campaign will be presenting these petitions to representatives of WAZA and the Japanese government at future events. Help us spread the word, sign and share.
